... summer escape

... i lost the bid for Company Manager, so life goes on...

Thanks for the people who voted for me and giving me a chance to be heard. I have since applied for the position of Internals Vice President and got the part!

Of course I will be involved in BlueREP in whatever way I can. Been part of it since freshman year, why stop right? Congratulations to Jill for beating me and taking on the job! hehe

Had dinner with some friends on the 18th (bea, geegee, jepoy, mako, pom, and gabs... kyla couldn't join us) with special guest Chari at Big Buddha in Greenbelt. It was a blast talking about and learning anything and everything about theatre and life... It's nice that I have found this group of people that I have been sincerely close to and have accepted me for what I am and believing in my potential. College has been good to me so far and I have them in my pocket to run to in this journey...

Special thanks to Geegee my partner in crime in all the crazy fun and seriousness of life. She graduated yesterday! The two years of friendship will continue onto the next chapter of adventures, hopefully in theatre and where ever the road takes us... and don't forget our plan B as nurses in America hehe!

Been a very very busy two weeks with finals and all... everything went well naman... just gotta finish up two prod books for my directing and technical theatre classes and it's basking in the sun i shall be doing.

(yeah, that guy at the back is me)

Graduation dinner of a good friend of mine, Tina last night. Got together with her family at Ang Hang in Malate... good food... then drank some with the Chaching (joe, ynna, saree--- tina went to bed)... being kids again with this bunch (known each other for more than 10 years now)... fun!

Finally got to read Hope for the Flowers this afternoon (forgot the author). Such an easy read, but wow the profoundess of it all. So philosophical--- totality, infinity, ethics, the face, responsibility for the other--- how so Emmanuel Levinas.

I love the summer, I get to read books and enjoy my time alone and be at home with my siblings... actually have breakfast and watch over my almost two year old pamangkin to veer him away from the stupid koreanovelas on the afternoon boobtube which his "yaya" is so addicted to.

Finally saw RENT the movie... bad reviews about it, but I never saw the musical when it was staged... so I have no basis of comparison... and I liked it.

RONY is here on the 28th and am soooooo soooo excited!!!!! staying at the shang for 3 days then off to Boracay!!!!!!!! It's gna be a honeymoon in paradise! can't wait! My first three days of april with him! It's going to be special, cause on the 4th we'll also be celebrating our 2 years and 3 months as a crazy couple... I love it!
